The edition sold more than 160,000 copies and was one of our most popular comics. Introduction by John Cole, director for the Center for The Book in The Library of Congress with a special appearance by actress Heather Locklear posing with Ben Frankguin!

Penguin and Pencilguin #7
(1990-91)

Tales of the Penguin King is a send up of the classic Monkey King of Chinese legends. Teenage Mutant Ninja Patrick Rabbit is a take off on the Turtles and the story is still very funny. RC Williams rare comic strip Reed Reeder appears for the first time and the final story is by Jon Murakami called "The Wonderous World of Warwick". Jon later became one of Hawaii's most famous cartoonists and the creator of The Dragons of Hawaii which has their own children's book with Phil Yeh slated for 2003.
