Uncle Jam issue with Rick Griffin Cover

Very few copies left! From the personal collection of publisher Phil Yeh who also conducted an interview with Rick in 1976 with comic book colorist Tom Luth and Juxtapoz curator Greg Escalante at Rick's home.
Rick had cut the separations for this issue of Cobblestone, Yeh's legendary art newspaper that started as Uncle Jam in 1973 and returned to that same name in 1977 until 1991. Ever the perfectionist, Rick later would show up at the Orange County based printer to watch as the issues rolled off the press to make sure that they got it right.

Uncle Jam issue 72 with Moebius Cover

Very few copies left! From the personal collection of publisher Phil Yeh. Yeh met Jean Giraud (Moebius) in 1982 when he lived in Los Angeles working on the Disney movie TRON. Uncle Jam issue 83-12 with Moebius Cover

Very few copies left! From the personal collection of publisher Phil Yeh. After Phil Yeh interviewed John and Toni Lilly with his partner Dennis Niedbala, Jean (Moebius) Giraud offered to create a custom cover just for this issue of Uncle Jam. One of the wonderful things about Uncle Jam was it introduced so many readers to all these artists, writers and innovative thinkers in California to a general audience.

Uncle Jam issue 91-14 with Moebius Cover

Very few copies left! From the personal collection of publisher Phil Yeh. By this time, Phil was very much involved with his Cartoonists Across America & The World tour and this cover came about when Jean (Moebius) Giraud joined the band in San Francisco for one of their mural events. He also painted with us at the San Diego comic-con. RC Williams and Trina Robbins were also there and played a role in the creation of this artwork. A true "jam" for Uncle Jam.

Price: US $50.00

Uncle Jam issue 94-16 with Moebius Cover

Very few copies left! From the personal collection of publisher Phil Yeh. One of the last issues of the legendary free paper featured this Moebius image on the cover.
